ScreamRide Review

There isn't anything 'tycoony' here. It's just construction, riding, and destroying. On paper it actually doesn't sound like something that would be that fun. Sure, I often built ultra-insane coasters on Roller Coaster Tycoon, or build coasters that would inevitably crash. But that fun lasted 30 minutes, tops. So could ScreamRide deliver an experience that would keep me intrigued for hours on end?

Has Fable Lost its “Must Buy” Reputation: Legends is Free-to-Play

If you've been anticipating the latest Fable release and have been saving your pennies, you can now stop. Microsoft and Lion Head Studios announced late last week that Fable Legends will now be free-to-play. While there is no real reason given for this change in philosophy, one can only suspect that perhaps, the Fable franchise has lost it's 'must buy' reputation.

Evolve Review

The terrain of the planet Shear is devastatingly dangerous and exceptionally beautiful. The planet was populated in an effort to establish colonies far in the distant future. However, when vicious and ruthless monsters began to destroy the civilization, the plant became a warzone. The graphics and story created for the new hit FPS MMO Evolve are unique and enchanting and tell the story of Shear’s birth, death, and rescue with beautiful style. The planet is equal parts treacherous and stunning and the hunters who sneak through its terrain to hunt down the ...

If you are interested in picking up a headset and are looking for something that isn't considered a 'budget' set, the Nur's are a great choice. However, gamers should consider what they want most in a headset - chat versus game audio - to make a decision wisely. Either way, snagging any Afterglow product is a no brainer.

Ultimate NES Remix Review

NES Remix has made the jump to the 3DS. It's not a perfect 1:1 portable version of Wii U NES Remix and NES Remix II whereas "ultimate" is used more to describe it as a best of collection with some tweaks here and there. Ultimate NES Remix takes from both Wii U NES Remix games and fuses them together with the addition a more robust online leaderboard system.

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom Review

People have attempted to clone the Legend of Zelda franchise for years. Some have had success doing so, while most have not. The developers behind Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom have done an excellent job cloning the classic franchise, and although it has its own issues, its still an adequate top down adventure title that is worth your time.

Cities XXL Review

Simulation city-building games have been popular ever since the release of the highly acclaimed and somewhat revolutionary Sim City franchise began. While games that allow the player to control locations or people have always had a niche, Sim City created the ability to not just control one small sub-section of a society, like a theme park or a mall, but allowed players to control an entire city. With the player usually acting as the mayor of said city, they make decisions about labor and production for their citizens and must gauge how important the ...

Game of Thrones: Episode 2 – The Lost Lords Review

The second episode of Telltale's take on Game of Thrones feels a little too much like a second beginning, but shows that things are soon going to start heating up. Despite more appearances from HBO's incredible cast, it's the developing stories of its original characters that hold your attention this time around.

The Escapists Review

There's a lot to like when playing The Escapists on Xbox One, and very few issues stand in the way of what will most definitely be an excellent release on Xbox One and Steam. I received a copy of the game from the publishers, Team 17 - yes, the Worms people - and got right to work. I was not disappointed.
