First Look: Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious is only free until April 10th but after playing the game for about an hour and a half I realized I won't need much more time to complete the entire game and successfully unlock all achievements, netting me the 1000/1000 score. The total amount of time to complete this game is about 3-5 hours depending on your driving skill. Most of the achievements are story related or task related, One achievement entirely depends on your skills for combo chains as a Forza driver and a little luck to go your way to achieve a 50,000 ...

Dreamfall Chapters: Book 2 Review

After a short and unexpected delay, the second book of the game Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey was released this March. Book One: Reborn, released back in October of last year was the first release for the series after an 8 year break during which the game’s creator Ragnar Tornquist reached out to Kickstarter to get support in making the third game in the franchise. Due to the huge gap in time, this third game offers much more advanced graphics and the ability for Tornquist to see more of his ideas realized. It is because of Tornquist’s perfectionism ...

Book of Unwritten Tales 2 Review

I've just recently begun getting back into the point and click adventure game genre. I plowed through King's Quest 5, 6, and 7, and the Monkey Island series. I was about to jump into another franchise when I saw a tweet from Evolve PR our of BC, Canada. It read along the lines of: "If you are not playing The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 you should be." So I did. If you have fond memories of 90s point and click heyday, you will find lots of love in this awesome title from the people over at KING Art Games.

Mario Party 10 Review

Nintendo continues to innovate and change when it comes to their Mario Party series, but it's time for them to revert back to what made the game successful back on the N64. Regardless, despite a few issues that plague this particular title, Mario Party 10 is still a game worth a few plays.

Fossil Fighters: Frontiers Review

Being in media, it is my job to know whats going on with Nintendo. So obviously, I felt a little out-of-the-loop when a review code for Fossil Fighters: Frontiers for 3DS come across my desk. Fossil Fighters is one of those tricky games to review, if only because it's not meant for adults. Fortunately, I had a younger opinion on this title.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round Review

Koei are perhaps the only developer to have massively embraced the idea of porting their games to next-gen consoles en masse. Dynasty Warriors 8, Samurai Warriors 4, Warriors Orochi 3 and now Dead or Alive 5 have all made the leap with mostly positive results. Mostly positive, because although there's nothing specifically wrong with the shiny, new versions of these games, there's no exactly a whole lot of improvement either.

Ori and the Blind Forest Review

Ori and the Blind Forest is one of the best games I have ever played...ever. Not only is the audio and visuals outstanding, but the story off the top is really gripping, making you want to play through the whole thing to see what happens to the beautiful forest that once existed.

Code Name S.T.E.A.M. Review

What you find in Code Name S.T.E.A.M*. is not your usual London. Instead, you'll find a London powered by steam, full of aliens and...Abraham Lincoln? Yup, this iconic America hero, as well as many other real and fictional characters, all team up to rid London of the nasty alien pests; while this sounds completely wacky - which it is - it also works really well, making it one of the best turn based games I've played in a long time.

Hand of Fate Review

Card games are great fun when played with friends, but I've never really felt that they have translated well to consoles. Many have tried, but few have been really successful. Hand of Fate is a mash-up between a card game and a hack and slash game and it works really well. Although there are a number of frame rate and lag issues, Hand of Fate is still an excellent experience on Xbox One.
