After playing through the entire main story line and about 8 hours of extras, it is safe to say that Batman Arkham Knight could possibly be the best Batman game, ever. I’m not comparing this to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City; no, I’m comparing it to all Batman games. This title builds on the positives in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and goes above and beyond to create one of the best open world games I have ever played. This title will receive serious Game of the Year consideration come December, at least here on Games Reviews.

Le Tour De France is very exciting to follow especially in the last legs of the race. To see anyone remotely close to a top ranked position really attacking and pushing themselves in the final hour or minutes of the race. The agony the racers go through especially at the end shows how much they want it. It shows their passion, their determination, their love for biking. Launch week for the Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Edition on Xbox One was disastrous. Server issues trumped all the dialogue surrounding the game, including inability to load, waiting over an hour to get into a game, or having to log out to fix any number of in-game glitches. However, the benefit of holding off on a review until a week or two after launch is really understand what the game is all about.

With the dominance that the Chicago Blackhawks have had over the last six years it was only fitting to put their Captain Jonathan Toews and elite star Patrick Kane on the cover holding the Stanley Cup.

Traveling through a book called the Chronicle, Kinnat finds herself transported to a parallel world of magic and mystery with new challenges around every corner. An engaging and unique hidden object point-and-click game, Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden is a fun buy at a reasonable price.

LEGO Jurassic World combines everything I liked about LEGO video games and largely removes the only thing I really hated: the combat. With the focus on combat gone, Travelers Tales has given more time to environmental destruction, helpful hints for those young LEGO fans, and more puzzles to complete. Oh yes, and dinosaurs.

Over the last two weeks my experiences with Payday 2: Crimewave Edition has been loaded with wait times, frustration and a little bit of fun. There were about twenty heists, maybe more that I was never able to connect to due to server issues on Crime Net. I was still able to complete heists but not as many as I would have liked. This version of Payday 2 comes complete with the original version and all the available DLC which was great to have all in one package. Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven will have you scratching your head in bewilderment on numerous occasions during this short - for Japanese Role Playing Game standards - but dynamic title. To be fair, it is a wonder this game ever made it to retail, since one of the studios involved with this title, and Rune Factory, shut down suddenly. Fortunately, Marvelous picked up the pieces and presented us with this 'different' and exciting JRPG.

So there it is. The news that many of us have been waiting for since 1997. 18 long years. Square Enix announced at E3 2015 that we are finally getting a Final Fantasy VII remake. A proper one. Not just updated graphics or shiny new cutscenes, but a full remake with new gameplay and, so we are told, new story elements to boot.
