Sea of Thieves Review
Sea of Thieves is a game that is LOADED with potential, but little of which is released at this time. It's also a game I will keep coming back to from time-to-time to see what has been changed and updated. What is hear is great, but when you are asking 59.99 USD for the experience, it quickly becomes apparent that what's here isn't worth the retail purchase price. On the flip side, for those looking at it via Xbox Game Pass, there is plenty of value here for your $10 a month entrance price.

With a host of new features, and a new formula for game progression, Far Cry 5 is setting itself up to be the best in the franchise, and for good reason. Outside of the fascinating characters, there is plenty to enjoy here, especially those unique moments when you can get a very satisfying kill. Here are our top 3 that you should try!

Earlier today, I tweeted out that Far Cry 5 would make the perfect backdrop for a Walking Dead video game, forgetting that one was actually already in the works. Although not by Ubisoft, Overkill Software is working on bringing The Walking Dead to life in a multiplayer FPS experience. Little has been released about this game, but today the developers broke their silence, releasing the first of (hopefully) many Dev Diaries. Check it out below!

I was really young when the original Mortal Kombat for the NES came out. I remember thinking it was gross but I wasn’t offended by it and neither was my dad. The game was violent but it was over the top cartoon violence. Of course not everyone saw it like that. A small group and the media tried to turn Mortal Kombat into a controversy There have been a lot of Mortal Kombat games since then but none of them…

When a franchise gets into it's 4th or 5th title, sometimes bad habits or complacency sets in and what consumers ultimately get at retail is a paired down, lackluster experience that disappoints in many ways. Ubisoft themselves have been partially guilty of this, especially when you look back on releases like Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed Unity. However, this is a company that has learned from the past, and the recent release of Assassin's Creed Origins is proof that Ubisoft knows how to create fantastic experiences. Far Cry 4 was good, but never ...
Read MoreDetective Pikachu Review
Even if you are not a long time fan of the Pokémon franchise, there is one thing you probably do know: Pokémon don’t talk to humans and humans don’t talk to Pokémon. Sure, based on emotions of a Pokémon - or even their actions - a good trainer can determine what a Pokémon is thinking or feeling; but to actually talk to one? That is basically unheard of. So when we learned about the popular Japanese Detective Pikachu and that it was going to be brought over to the West, I was incredibly skeptical. I wasn’t onboard with talking Pikachu. So how did this colour ...

As I do anymore, I decided to check the Japanese Nintendo Switch eshop and see if there was a new demo to download. And I found a demo called Happy Birthdays right away. I knew it was a simulation game and that NIS America is going to bring it to the United States this year. I thought it would be an interesting download, even if it was all in Japanese. Then I actually played it on my United States profile…

Japanese Roll Playing Games go with PlayStation like butter on bread, but not all JRPG experiences are the same, in terms of storyline, game mechanics, or overall quality. In 2018 - and when compared to what was released in 2017 - I firmly believe that Ni No Kuni 2 rises to the top, as one of the premier JRPG titles currently available on the PS4. While there are some questions around the games overall difficulty, and perhaps lack of variety at times, the overall package works really well, and is definitely a worthwhile purchase!

In terms of weird email headlines, getting notification that BlackBerry was starting a Smartphone Fan League definitely ranks up their pretty high, but when I began surfing through the press release sent over by the PR firm, I was pleasantly surprised, and actually a little bit excited about what the company was proposing! Check out the details below, and take a peak at our BlackBerry Motion review!
