The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is the latest installment of one of Nintendo’s oldest and most successful franchises. Based on the 1993 game of the same name, this remaster will be available on Nintendo Switch tomorrow! The question remains: is this remaster a glow-up that’s worth the purchase or is it a blow-up that’s worth the pass? Let's find out!

Thanks to Nintendo of Canada, we have begun playing our way through The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Nintendo Switch. As you would assume from a remaster, the new game is very much in line with the original and DX releases, with a few notable, quality of life changes. In our early time with the game, there are many things to marvel at, and a few that raise some questions. Let’s dive in!

With the upcoming release of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga on the Nintendo 3DS - available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop on October 6 - I started wondering what other great Nintendo Gameboy Advanced titles we could possibly see remastered on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems in the near future. Many people have been calling for the death of the Nintendo 3DS ever since the Nintendo Switch launched, citing a variety of reasons, most predominantly that Nintendo should focus their time and money on the Switch.
