Nintendo in Canada has some great deals this Black Friday and you will notice similar prices and products available in the United States. As its own franchise, Yoshi's Island has become incredibly dull. Nintendo has, however, figured out a way to revitalize the franchise with their 2015 upcoming release, Yoshi's Woolly World. Yoshi is back on console, and the game not only looks great, but it plays great too.

Yoshi has appeared sporadically throughout the Mario universe, playing major roles in numerous games, and providing cameos in others. In 1995, Yoshi was deemed important enough to be given his own game, and little has changed in the spin-offs and sequels since. Yoshi's New Island, available now for the 3DS, is a familiar platform adventure on a new handheld. Although the core of the game is the same, a few new implementations are less than spectacular, making Yoshi's latest adventure feel like a broken version of the older titles.

Very quite on releases for the following 7 days, possibly due to E3 taking all the limelight this week. The Last Of Us keeps the 'quality over quantity' phrase alive though.
