Microsoft's focus in 2018 so far has been multiplayer experiences; this began with Sea of Thieves which launched just a few months ago in March, which has been followed up by the highly anticipated open world zombie game, State of Decay 2. While spending time with friends in this expansive world is lots of fun, technical hiccups and lack of variety hold this title back from being one of the brightest on the Xbox

Sea of Thieves Review
Sea of Thieves is a game that is LOADED with potential, but little of which is released at this time. It's also a game I will keep coming back to from time-to-time to see what has been changed and updated. What is hear is great, but when you are asking 59.99 USD for the experience, it quickly becomes apparent that what's here isn't worth the retail purchase price. On the flip side, for those looking at it via Xbox Game Pass, there is plenty of value here for your $10 a month entrance price.

Yesterday afternoon, Xbox Canada unlocked Sea of Thieves for reviewers, and I quickly jumped in for a few hours to see all the exciting content that wasn't public during the alpha and beta phase of the game. Right from the get-go, Rare did not disappoint, with much more content ready and waiting for me the second I walked out of the tavern and down to my ship. Whether it was looking for chests, taking on undead pirates for loot via a washed up Message in a Bottle, or wrangling a few animals, my first few hours in Sea of Thieves have been pretty fun. that ...

If you've never played Super Lucky's Tale you are definitely missing out. Despite a few hiccups that have plagued platforming titles since the beginning of time, Super Lucky's Tale is a charming adventure platform title that will have you scurrining across four world, collecting coins and clovers, defeating bosses, and bringing peace to the land. For 4.99, owners of Super Lucky's Tale can grab a 5th world, with roughly 3-4 hours of gameplay. One of the biggest title hitting console and PC this holiday season is Star Wars Battlefront 2. After affair amount of early controversy - and some action on behalf of Electronic Arts - things are moving along pretty well for this galactic giant, as it tries to recapture the magic of the first Star Wars Battlefront release on Xbox a few years back. From a gameplay perspective, it's so-far-so-good, with online matches proving to be a ton of fun, and the inclusion of a single player experience a definite improvement over the last Battlefront title. Overall, EA ...

We all know about the power packed under the hood of the Xbox One X. Microsoft is boasting that their latest console has 40% more power than any other console on the market, with a 2.3 GHz clocked 8-core Custom AMD CPU, 12 GB of GDDR5 of graphics memory, and 6 Teraflop GPU enabled 4K for outstanding picture quality. For your hardcore, technological expert, all of this data means something; for the rest of us, it's a lot of numbers and acronyms that sound great, although we aren't entirely sure what they mean. But at the end of the day, what does the Xbox One ...

The best part about reviewing a game later than other outlets is too see what the chatter is around a specific title, and being able to feed off of that. In general, the majority of outlets are on the same page when it comes to titles, the things they do well, and the things they do poorly. After spending a significant amount of time with the title on Xbox One X, I jumped online to see what the reaction was within the media circle. I was shocked. I was seeing scores of 5 and 6 out of 10, and was flabbergasted on how that was possible. So, I returned to Super ...

Zoo Tycoon was a release title when the Xbox One first launched, and people were really excited to get the beloved PC Tycoon title on their consoles and big screens. Unfortunately, a number of major issues held that original title back, like huge limits on how much people could put in their parks, extremely long load times, and a myriad of technical issues and graphical hiccups. It was a fun, but majorly flawed experience. With the Xbox One X, Microsoft is taking another stab at Zoo Tycoon with the Ultimate Animal Collection. Does the extra power and speed in ...
