This year, Microsoft unveiled their Xbox One Elite controller, a controller that any one who plays console video games would love to have. Unfortunetly, the price here in Canada is pushing 200$ after you factor in taxes. For that kind of money, you could almost get a Wii U! Today, Microsoft announced the Xbox One Elite bundle was available to preorder.

Microsoft has announced the latest and greatest of free Games with Gold for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, along with this week being your final chance to download August's Games with Gold selection.

Go ahead and place me in the crowd of folks happy to see backwards compatibility come to the Xbox One. I fully believe it should have been there from the beginning, and now that it is here, my available game library has grown by a few titles. There is just one, general problem: is backwards compatibility merely a great marketing tool for Microsoft going forward, or will people take advantage of this when it launches in December?

Le Tour De France is very exciting to follow especially in the last legs of the race. To see anyone remotely close to a top ranked position really attacking and pushing themselves in the final hour or minutes of the race. The agony the racers go through especially at the end shows how much they want it. It shows their passion, their determination, their love for biking. Great news to all Xbox users as next week we get Microsoft's Ultimate Game Sale. It kicks off on July 7 and runs until July 13, 2015. There aren't complete details just yet and more to come as we get the news but this offer will bring us the best deals of the summer. Discounts of up to 50% on over 70 games across both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A nice little bonus is added as well if you are an Xbox live Gold Member with an additional up to 10% off savings.

Great news has come our way as starting in July there will be two games offered on Xbox One instead of the standard one new game monthly. As seen in the above image Microsoft confirms that Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag will be offered throughout the entire month of July on Xbox One. While the new title So Many Me will be offered for a month as well but starting on July 16 until August 15.

Over the last two weeks my experiences with Payday 2: Crimewave Edition has been loaded with wait times, frustration and a little bit of fun. There were about twenty heists, maybe more that I was never able to connect to due to server issues on Crime Net. I was still able to complete heists but not as many as I would have liked. This version of Payday 2 comes complete with the original version and all the available DLC which was great to have all in one package. Beach Buggy Racing seems to be another attempt at the legendary Super Mario Kart which has a lot of upside but doesn’t live up to the legendary Mario Kart. For several years there have been a lot of publisher games trying to imitate the success but to no avail. All of the previous Kart type games and Beach Buggy Racing are good in their own way and a good alternative to Mario Kart for each of their respective consoles.
