When the Xbox One X gets launched later this year, there are two games I'm really looking forward to playing on the system for one very specific reason: the settings. The Xbox One X promises to produce some of the best looking graphics available on modern consoles, and companies have already been harnessing this power to create games that will look the best on Xbox One X. But why these two titles? Well, for myself, it's a personal decision based on settings.

It only took a couple minutes for me to fall in love with Cars 3: Driven to Win, and although I can easily say it's no Mario Kart - and really, what cartoon racing game really is - I think it's an equally good alternative for those who perhaps prefer Cars over Mario, or those who do not own a Nintendo Switch. We are looking at the game on both of Nintendo's current platforms for this review: the Nintendo Switch, and the Nintendo Wii U!

Nintendo Treehouse always seems to get the most press and accolades at E3 events, but this year, other publishers are getting in on the continues streaming action. For the first time at E3, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is showing live footage of various important people playing some of their upcoming titles. What had me captivated for much of the afternoon was the LEGO Dimensions coverage!

If you haven’t seen the Goonies movie you are doing an incredible disservice to yourself. Stop what you are doing, stop reading this review, and go watch it. Then come back. Through various levels, the developers behind LEGO Dimensions have done an excellent job recreating the Goonies movie in LEGO form, allowing you to play as various Goonies and the main man Sloth, as you finish the adventure, collect red bricks, and explore every inch of the world.

LEGO City Undercover was an excellent release way back on the Wii U, and got its deserved rerelease on all platforms early this year. Not to lose out on that hype, Travelers Tales has officially launched the LEGO City Fun Pack for LEGO Dimensions, bringing Chase McCain and a cast of other characters over to the LEGO Dimensions universe. While this obviously isn't a 1-for-1 remake of the full fledged LEGO City Undercover title, it is a wonderful addition to the Dimensions world, and might even entice those who have yet to play the full Chase McCain adventure, ...

We have been diligently working away at some written content for Guardians of the Galaxy, a Telltale Series, for the website, and Warner Bros Entertainment Canada has been nice enough to pass along a code for digital copy of Guardians of the Galaxy on Xbox One. No one should be surprised, including the GameStop employee who likely was fired after the Injustice 2 leak earlier this week. The 2.5D Metroidvania entry in the Batman Arkham city will be coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in April this year, Warner Brothers have announced. Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate was a handheld exclusive that took place after Arkham Origins and was set in - can you guess - Blackgate Prison. Blackmask, Joker and Penguin all want to cause trouble, and it's up to you as The Bat to sort it all out.

Shadow of Mordor was revealed a few weeks ago for next-gen systems, current-gen systems and PC, and while it sounded pretty damn impressive, there was little to actually judge it by. Other than a few interesting gameplay features that might end up being less impressive than they sound, there wasn't even really a picture. That changed earlier this week when a handful of screens were released, showing off both the player character, his techniques and a handful of enemies.
