Immortals Fenyx Rising Review (Switch)

Immortals Fenyx Rising (aka Gods and Monsters) was originally announced at E3 2019 and instantly drew comparisons to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, rightfully so. The game is now officially launching on Dec 3, 2020, for basically every current console and PC. I had the opportunity to review the Switch version of the game, which I was interested in seeing how well another company can pull off a BOTW type game on a Nintendo console. But before we get into that let's talk about what the game is all about.

Just Dance 2021 Review

There are certain things we can rely on in life to have an annual release, Things like the Shamrock shake at McDonald’s, or they claymation Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer special during the holidays. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Review-in-Progress

Assassin's Creed has been one of my favourite franchises of all time, and the changes they have made in the last few entries are wonderful in almost every way. While there were a few things in Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey that I didn't enjoy, some of those issues have been rectified in what I like to call the "New Era" of Assassin's Creed titles. From start to finish, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a fantastic experience, punctuated by dozens of highs, and very few lows. Let's dive in!

Now I’m fixing that! Let’s talk about Immortals Fenyx Rising. What would happen if Breath of the Wild and Kid Icarus had a baby? It might be that the child would be Immortals Fenyx Rising. There are definitely some big Breath of the Wild and Kid Icarus…

Immortals: Fenyx Rising Shown At the Ubisoft Forward Event

Immortals: Fenyx Rising was shown at the Ubisoft Forward event. Check out some footage for the game below. We have some thoughts on it! Immortals: Fenyx Rising looks like Breath of the Wild had a bady with Greek Myth (or Assassin’s Creed Odyssey?). The game looks really good! Immortals, much like Breath of the Wild, will have a huge open world that players can explore from the get-go. The Greek myth inclusion: from Zeus to Medusa and more makes this…

Thanks to our friends at Ubisoft Canada, we have been given the opportunity to take the Fate of Atlantis DLC for a spin, and post our thoughts about the three part DLC adventure. This second major DLC release builds off the first in positive ways, which we will address shortly. With two chapters down and one to go, I'm thuroughly enjoying yet another romp through the world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint at Ubisoft E3 2019

With its original announcement coming in a couple weeks ago, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint was still heavily featured in Ubisoft's E3 2019 Press Conference. Starring Joe Bernthal, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint aims to bring the most brutal and gritty survival experience the franchise has ever seen. This includes a comprehensive injury system, a variety of harsh terrain, and the buddy carry system. It also includes a temporary camp called the 'The Bivouac' which will be the refuge where players can rest between missions.
