LEGO Juniors 10759 – The Incredibles Elastigirl’s Rooftop Pursuit

The Incredibles 2 hits theatres this weekend across North America, and to celebrate the movie launch - and the pending launch of The Incredibles LEGO video game - The LEGO Group sent over Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit for us to review on GamesReviews.com. I've never been a huge LEGO Juniors fan, but ever since my son has become old enough to start putting sets together himself, I've purchased more and more of these sets for his collection. Is Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit worth spending your money on if you have younger kids in the home? Let's dive in and take ...

Warner Bros

Warner Bros Booth Tour at E3 2018

Warner Bros did not disappoint at E3 2018! I didn’t realize it until my booth tour was over with WB, but villainy was definitely the theme. I only played two titles, but I was a Hitman in one and a DC villain aiding the Joker in a prison escape in the others. I am now realizing how infrequently play villains, and I have say, I loved it. Another delightful surprise, both of these games will release before the end of the year, so players will get a chance to try on the feeling of being wicked in not too long.

LEGO 10715: Bricks on a Roll Review

To celebrate 60 years of LEGO, the LEGO Group has launched a number of LEGO brick starter sets, themed in a specific way, which includes a booklet of building ideas. The concept here is to bring LEGO back to its roots: a box of blocks and a kid - or adult - with an imagination and knack for building great things! The Bricks on a Roll set from LEGO boasts 442 pieces of rolling fun, themed around wheels. Despite not having the flashy franchise of LEGO City, LEGO Creator, or other themed sets, Bricks on a Roll stands alone very well, and adds a number of harder ...

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game Review

LEGO games have been around for a long time, and have been released on almost every modern video game system imaginable, from the iPhone to the Xbox One, and everything in between. When the Nintendo Switch launched in March of 2017, everyone knew it would be the perfect system for Travelers Tales LEGO game, and so far, they haven't disappointed with the release of LEGO Worlds, and now, the LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game. LEGO Ninjago is much like previous LEGO licenced titles, but one major twist: improved combat that suites a Ninja lifestyle!

LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game – Combat is King

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game doesn't break a ton of new ground for famed developers Travelers Tales, but the game does enough to differentiate itself for the dozens of other LEGO titles currently available across almost every gaming platform imaginable. If you are familiar with LEGO Ninjago, you'll know that in the movie and show, Ninja combat is at the forefront of almost every encounter. It makes sense, then, that Travelers Tales would rework the standard LEGO game combat to better fit the Ninjago franchise. From what I've played, it works really well!

LEGO Dimensions: Powerpuff Girls Team Pack

I'll be the first to admit that Powerpuff Girls isn't really up my alley, but when Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment sent over the Powerpuff Girls Team Pack, I was interested enough to put it together and check it out. While I wasn't thrilled about the LEGO builds themselves, the in game content was pretty strong all around, making the Powerpuff Girls Team Pack a good addition to any LEGO Dimensions collection.

With the LEGO Ninjago Movie releasing in theatres today, and the LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game hitting stores shelves, it is important to not forget about the third peg to this stool: the actual LEGO sets that have been available on the market for a few weeks now. Thanks to the good people over at the LEGO Group, we were able to review one of these sets. See what we thought of the Lightning Jet LEGO Set!

LEGO Worlds is the Perfect Fit on Nintendo Switch

When LEGO Worlds came out earlier this year on the PS4 and Xbox One, we jumped at an opportunity to review the title, and thanks to Warner Bros. in Canada, we had that opportunity. You can read our (mostly positive) thoughts here! When doing that review, the one thing I constantly said to friends, my PR representative, and almost everyone else was: "I cannot wait for this game on Nintendo Switch." That time is here, and I was so right with that initial observation: the portability of LEGO Worlds on Nintendo Switch legitimately put my 50+ lbs of LEGO bricks ...

LEGO Ideas – Old Fishing Store Now Available

The LEGO Ideas Old Fishing Store is no available, and with its release, I see LEGO moving more and more towards LEGO aimed at mature audiences. There is nothing flashy about this set for kids, but has a beautiful aesthetic that will definitely catch the eyes of LEGO adult fans around the world. With over 2000 pieces - including many unique and exclusive pieces - this is likely to be a major hit for The LEGO Group!
