When playing inFamous Second Son, I received a deluge of visual satisfaction. Sucker Punch’s third attempt at its superhero series is a great showcase of PlayStation 4’s technical prowess. Particle effects galore, a breathtakingly gorgeous open-world, and great facial animations make Second Son the best looking PS4 game by a mile. But for all of Sucker Punch’s technical advancements, the game’s storytelling failed to meet the same type of improvements.

Many years ago when there was a huge discrepancy between the value of the Canadian and US dollar, games and consoles in Canada were significantly more expensive then the United States. However, over the last generation, the Canadian-US dollar has almost been at par because of a failing US economy coupled with a strong Canadian economy.

Infinity Ward have fixed a lot of the issues that plagued Ghosts at launch, but there's one thing they can't fix: the size and shape of the original multiplayer maps. They're too big, with too much going on. In trying to combat camping (by creating a "always open" feel wherever you go), they've made it ten times worse. A Florida man was shot dead after a deal gone wrong over a Playstation 4, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The victim, 25-year-old Emmanuel Johnson, met up with another man at around 4:30 p.m. November 17th to haggle over the PS4. The two were originally supposed to meet near the Orlando police headquarters, but one of them decided to change the location at the last minute. When they finally met, things went from bad to worse and a shootout ensued, killing Johnson and wounding the other man. The shooting is still under investigation.

The PlayStation 4 launch party in New York was bound to bring some news we either anticipated or were simply hoping for. The guys from Naughty Dog both surprised and excited fans with the reveal of Uncharted 4.

Reviews are in for the Playstation 4's exclusive launch titles, and it's not a pretty sight. Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida recently spoke with GamesIndustry.biz about the Playstation 4 and expressed his thoughts on these early reviews.

The launch line-up blues continues with Sony’s Playstation 4, this time with their next-gen racing simulation exclusive DriveClub. Sony announced at GameCom that players who buy select titles on their current console will be able to upgrade their copy to a digital PS4 counter-part for as little as $10.

Sony have confirmed that they will be announcing the release date of the PS4 tomorrow at 6pm CET at Gamescom in Germany.
