2017 was a great year for adventure titles, and there really just wasn't enough time to dive into everything was available. That being said, we've collected a few of our favorite games from 2017 below, ones we see as titles you just cannot miss playing. Let's see which games we felt were the best in 2017!

Although your original starting point of Siwa will be light on the restricted areas you can enter, when the large world of Assassin's Creed Origins finally does open up to you - especially in your first major city, Alexandria - you will realize that restricted zones are a dime a dozen. Enter them, and be prepared for a fight. Get spotted, and in certain situations, it is as good as a game over. There are ways to successfully enter, kill, and loot an entire location, but careful skill is needed to do this. Your weapon of choice in these situations? The Predator Bow.

The Gran Turismo series has been spinning out on the track lately, so Polyphony Digital receded to the shadows to work on the next great racing experience, Gran Turismo Sport. For what this title lacks in content, it more than makes up for in game mechanics, and with a host of racing games available this year on the market, from a new entry in the Forza series to the second iteration of Project Cars, Gran Turismo works hard to stand out from the rest. I've never been one to excitedly wait for a horror/thriller title on console, but Evil Within 2 might make me rethink that position. Despite my reservations about horror games in general - very predictable, and often doesn't have the same shock value as a movies - Evil Within 2 gave me enough spine crawling, freight endusing moments, mixed in with some great open world mechanics, to deliver on what is one of the better horror/thriller titles to date on console. Despite my distaste for the genre, I simply couldn't put Evil Within 2 down until I had beaten it!

The Astro Gaming name is synonymous with gaming, and for years everyone has assumed that Astro headsets are outside the reach of the average gamer. In the past, this was definitely true, but Astro is running lines of Headsets at a much lower cost, and the Astro A40 TR Headset - aimed at PC and MAC users, but compatible with newer Xbox One controllers and PS4 - is a great headset that comes in at a modest $150 price tag. Overall, that expensive Astro quality is there, but not the excessive pricing.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch (and other systems) next month! We are finding out more and more about this game all time.
