With the launch of the Forbidden Lights expansion for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, The Pokemon Company also launched their latest Spring 2018 Tins. As with all Pokemon tins, this set comes with 4 booster packs - one from the Crimson Invasion expansion, and three others form earlier expansions - and a special holograph card.

Having Pokémon games on the eShop has been great, and allowed me to go back and revisit some of my favorite titles in the series. Like the Mario Bros games, Pokémon titles seem to be the games you tend to buy over and over again if you are a huge fan; with the launch of Pokémon Crystal on the Nintendo eShop this January, I'll be able to add an other Pokémon classic to my collection of Pokémon games. I like to think I hang out with a nice diverse group of friends , with different likes and dislikes. When throwing a party, trying to appease everyone at once can be a bit daunting, but I found a surprise friend on the Nintendo Switch: Pokken Tournament DX! It seems that regardless of what they like - whether they enjoy fighting titles, or even Pokémon for that matter - people are willing to sit down and match strength with another person in a Pokken match. I think I know why.

Pokken Tournament was a much loved game on the Nintendo Wii U, but not one that many people bought into and spent much time with. Trying to bank on the success of the arcade cabinets in Japan, Nintendo made the decision to bring the game to consoles, with much success in Japan, and moderate success in North America.
