There's been a lot of speculation about what Sony will be looking to do with the Cloud, and it seems like they might have been reading an awful lot of what people expect from the service online. It's slightly underwhelming in just how right many of us were about it, but in every other way I'm not sure they could handle it any better. There are a few questions left to be asked - which probably means we won't like the answers - but so far we're impressed.

It would seem that Bioshock Infinite and Persona IV: The Golden might be coming to PlayStation Plus in the near future, or at the very least receive heavy discounts.

The first post-release firmware update has been released for the PlayStation 4, and it's a little underwhelming. While you'd hope the switch to next-gen might encourage Sony to open up a little bit about what's changed between firmware versions, the explanation for 1.52 is simply that it "improves system stability."

Sony have this morning announced that their PlayStation 4 console, launched this past weekend in Europe, has sold 2.1 million units worldwide. That's a record breaker, folks, and it still hasn't released everywhere.

Looking to spend some digital cash tomorrow, but want to make sure you're not getting entirely ripped off? Earlier this week, there were reports of high pricing on the PlayStation Store and... there still is. But it's come down to match retail stores (which is to be expected) and now shouldn't be too rough on those virtual wallets.

Was going to pick up a PlayStation 4 but suddenly felt a little nervous after hearing nightmare stories from the US launch? Don't worry. Sony UK boss Fergal Gara today revealed that they've used the small gap between the UK and US launches to fix some of the issues the system had over the pond.

Last generation was far too long, and while it allowed for the development of impressive platform-pushers like The Last of Us, it also led to reduced sales and even studio closures. Thankfully, it seems Sony will be swapping things out a little more this time around, with the PlayStation 4 lifecycle reduced over its predecessor.

Sony have revealed the apps that'll be available on the PlayStation 4 when it launches later this week. Those hoping to completely replace their PlayStation 3 will be happy to know that all the major ones are there day one, and that there will be a lot more available to download between now and Spring 2014.

If you live in the UK, the US, or some other "major" gaming country, it can be a little hard to believe that there are some places that are yet to get some of the things we take for granted. Take PlayStation Mobile, for instance, which Sony have today announced will be making its way to several new countries in mid-December.
