Just last month, Sony and Santa Monica Studios wow'd us with the release of God of War, a reboot of the popular franchise on modern consoles that not only surpassed review expectations, but smashed sales records as well. I've never been one to excitedly wait for a horror/thriller title on console, but Evil Within 2 might make me rethink that position. Despite my reservations about horror games in general - very predictable, and often doesn't have the same shock value as a movies - Evil Within 2 gave me enough spine crawling, freight endusing moments, mixed in with some great open world mechanics, to deliver on what is one of the better horror/thriller titles to date on console. Despite my distaste for the genre, I simply couldn't put Evil Within 2 down until I had beaten it!

Harvest Moon type games have an instant attraction to so many gamers because of the laid back nature of their game play mechanics. Generally, games like Harvest Moon are relaxing titles, a great way to rid yourself of stress at the end of a long day. Sony hit it home this E3 with games galore, which is what most people are looking for at an E3 Briefing. All the big PlayStation franchises are heading back to the system, including God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Monster Hunter, and more. While their presentation itself could have used some spicing up, the content was there.
