E3 2018 is over. That's it folks. It went by so fast! And I have a lot of mixed feeling about this E3. I'll get into that, plus who I thought won E3 and what my favorite games were. Lets get to it. Final E3 column of the year!

Sony's turn tonight, so lets dive into what was shown! We heard that they would be focusing on four games and be doing things a bit differently this year. And, well, it was different for sure. Here are my thoughts on Playstation's E3 2018 conference.

Today is the third day of Playstation’s Countdown to E3 announcements. On the first day, we got the Tetris Effect reveal, on the second day we got a release date for Days Gone, and today we got a brand new game reveal. The game is called Twin Mirror. It has been rumored for awhile that Lego was working on a new game focusing on the DC Super villains. Today that game was announced! We have the announcement trailer below plus my thoughts on Lego DC Super-Villains. Lego DC Super-Villains has been announced for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is coming out on October 16, 2016. While the above trailer doesn’t reveal any gameplay footage for Lego’s newest game, I’m still pretty excited…

Outside of Telltale titles were the story is king and gameplay is secondary, there are few games available today that blend both well, at the same time. God of War has done this, has blown my mind, and is definitely an early candidate for Game of the Year. With characters you will care about, a story that is interesting throughout, and a combat system - although it takes time to master - that is a lot of fun, there is little bad to say about this years best video game experience.

I don’t have a Playstation 4. Most of the time, I don’t regret this decision. However, I’m a huge Spider-man and after seeing the latest footage for the new Spidey PS4 game, I am extremely jealous of Playstation 4 owners. Check out the footage for yourselves! Spider-man for the Playstation 4 is mind blowing. Sure, we’ve seen Spider-man in open world games before, but the level of graphics and fluid gameplay in this latest trailer is…well…amazing. MLB The Show 18 is breaking any major new ground in their year-to-year baseball outing, but does slightly build on The Show 17 in enough ways to make picking up the latest iteration money well spent. While the new features brought into the game are mostly cosmetic, upping the games presentation, they do add value that will be important for those who likely pick up each iteration anyways. Those looking for a few causal rounds of baseball can probably pass on this years installment, but be warned: you'll miss out on one of the most realistic baseball ...

When you look across Performance Design Products list of Pixel Pals, one thing should immediately strike you: how many difference franchises the company has been able to work with, bringing their figures to pixel form. From DC to Marvel, and from Nintendo to Sony, everyone seems to be getting on board with the wonderfully crafted, light up collectibles. They have been, and still remain, a very hot collectible. Many of the early models are difficulty to obtain, and as more and more 3rd parties sign on to be partners, the list will continue to grow!
