More Thoughts From Me #196: Do You Feel Super Lucky Punk?

Adam Roffel recently did a review of New Super Lucky’s Tale for the Nintendo Switch. You should check it out! The following is not a review of New Super Lucky’s Tale. Instead, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the game and whether or not you should pick it up. Wait. That sounds like a review. THIS ISN’T A REVIEW! Once Upon A Time, there was a fox named Lucky who got separated from his sister and thrown into…

New Super Lucky’s Tale Review

Review by Adam Roffel. New Super Lucky’s Tale on the Nintendo Switch is not a AAA priced title, and for 39.99, you get a lot for what you pay. Check out my review of the game. With many worlds to explore, and a number of levels within each world, there is plenty to do and lots to keep you going for a good 8-10 hours. In each level, you will work to obtain 4 leaf clovers by collecting all the…

New Super Lucky’s Tale Demo Impressions

A demo for New Super Lucky’s Tale was released on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eshop today. It is not available in North America yet. I have a Japanese eshop account so I decided to check out the demo. How is New Super Lucky’s Tale? Ever since E3 this year, I’ve had my eye on New Super Lucky’s Tale for Nintendo Switch! MediEvil Review

I think I only played a demo of MediEvil on the Playstation 1. I don’t think I’ve ever played the full game. So I wasn’t especially excited for the remake for Playstation 4. I did play the demo and thought it was alright. I didn’t expect to review the final game though. Enter Sony Interactive Entertainment Canada, who gave GamesReviews.com a review code for the game. I was picked to review the game and now that I’ve played it…I have…

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is out right now! Check out the launch trailer for the game and after you do, please come back for some thoughts on the game. We really liked the first Yooka-Laylee game! And now the Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is out. This second game is a bit different from the first. While the original game was fully 3D, this game is mostly 2D. The game does have an overhead Link’s Awaking Remake like overworld,…

More Thoughts From Me #186: Super Nintendo Meets the Switch

I was going to write Batman: Arkham Knight for this entry of More Thoughts. Then I discovered…I did not like Batman: Arkham Knight. So instead of complaining about a game I didn’t like, I thought I’d talk about SNES games on the Switch. We have them now. 20 games were launched last week! What do I think of them? Twenty Super Nintendo (SNES) games came to the Nintendo Switch last week. Nintendo Online members can download a SNES app to…

Indie World Showcase – 8.19.2019 (Video)

Nintendo had their Indie World Showcase video today. You can check it out below and please come back for some thoughts from me about the showcase. The Indie World Showcase for 8.19.2019 was just ok. I suppose my expectations were too high. I think my expectations are always too high about all of these Directs, Indie or otherwise. So I was expecting some pretty big surprises and we didn’t get that. Ori and the Blind Forest wasn’t a big surprise…
