With the announcement of the 2DS, I said that I believed that the 3DS family wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. And now Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has said to IGN that the system will be getting new games in 2018 also. What did Reggie say exactly? We have quotes from Reggie below! I think 2016 was fairly kind to Nintendo, despite the understanding from both consumers and media that a new system was on the horizon that would definitely kill off the Nintendo Wii U, but could also put a damper on 3DS production.
