Having Pokémon games on the eShop has been great, and allowed me to go back and revisit some of my favorite titles in the series. Like the Mario Bros games, Pokémon titles seem to be the games you tend to buy over and over again if you are a huge fan; with the launch of Pokémon Crystal on the Nintendo eShop this January, I'll be able to add an other Pokémon classic to my collection of Pokémon games. Read the entire press release from Nintendo below, and stay tuned for more Pokémon Crystal news!

The typical Pokémon generation of video games has been highlighted by two initial releases, followed by one ‘complete’ release. You had Pokémon Red and Blue, and then Pokémon Yellow. You had Gold and Siler, and then Crystal. You had Diamond and Pearl, and then Platinum, and so on. Until the release of Black and White, followed up by Black 2 and White 2, Game Freak has stuck to this generational system. Not until now has Game Freak again released sequels to their most popular title, rather than a ‘complete’ edition. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon are ...

Mario Party titles have been on the downswing in recent years, with things beginning to fall off the rails around Mario Party 6 or 7. While the final three installments of the franchise have still been great fun - and we reviewed them all fairly well - there was still something missing that the previous titles all had. Once thing, though, that Nintendo has never stalled out on, within the Mario Party franchise, are the mini games. When compared to any other home party title, Mario Party has some of the best - if not these best - mini games available, and to ...

Fire Emblem Warriors launches today in North America, and reviews for the game so far have been fairly positive. Today, we are looking at the recreation of the Gameboy Advanced classic RPG title. Is grabbing it on the 3DS solely to replay this classic adventure worth it, regardless of the Bowsers Minions additions? We think so, read on to find out why!

With the upcoming release of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga on the Nintendo 3DS - available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop on October 6 - I started wondering what other great Nintendo Gameboy Advanced titles we could possibly see remastered on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems in the near future. Many people have been calling for the death of the Nintendo 3DS ever since the Nintendo Switch launched, citing a variety of reasons, most predominantly that Nintendo should focus their time and money on the Switch. I disagree.

Yesterday's Nintendo Direct was incredible, with 45 minutes of non-stop announcements, reveals, and details on all our favorite announced - and previously unannounced - titles coming to the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Nintendo has to be in line for Publisher of the Year for all that they have accomplished in 2017, leaving the Wii U and the criticisms that surrounded the company during that time way in the past. With strong 3rd party support on the horizon, and tons of great titles left for 2017, it's obvious to me that Nintendo ...

One of the coolest announcements during that direct was the unveiling of a brand new, Pokeball designed New Nintendo 2DS XL. On top of that, new details were provided for the upcoming Pokémon titles heading to the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
