For the longest time, I often would determine my level of interest in a game after sixty minutes. Growing up, I rented a lot of video games, all of which had to pass the sixty minute test before I would buy it from the store. When Disney Infinity 3.0 launches officially in the fall we will be exposed to the world of Star Wars in addition to the world of Marvel and Disney. As reported earlier this month Disney Infinity 3.0 will be entirely based on Star Wars with each movie trilogy getting it's own play set and each Star Wars figure being able to play in each of the play sets. Disney Infinity did well and took a reasonable market share from Activision's Skylanders. Recognisable characters and included toys meant it was the must-have game amongst a certain demographic. Not to rest on their laurels, Mickey Mouse and friends accidentally announced Disney Infinity 2.0 today - with Marvel heroes joining the fray to boot.

Fresh from Disney’s D23 Expo in Japan is the latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, the long-awaited sequel set for release sometime in 2014 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The footage is from a Japanese demo, showing off Sora, Donald and Goofy as the fight bad guys in this action RPG. Today, Square Enix has announced that they will be releasing Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix in 2014. Like the recently released Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix, 2.5 will be exclusive to the Playstation 3, and feature high-definition remakes of classic games in the Square Enix/Disney franchise. The PC version of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, SEGA's re-release of the classic Disney-inspired Genesis/Megadrive platformer, is locked at 30FPS. This puts it on par with the console version, but fans who were holding out for smoother animations are very disappointed.

A new rumour is floating around that Avalanche Studios, the developers behind Just Cause 2, may have been working on an Iron Man game.
