If you haven't been playing the Elder Scrolls Online, and love the Elder Scrolls universe, there has never been a better time to jump in than now. As the game is already available on Xbox Game Pass - for those playing on Xbox One - it could be had for the low monthly cost of 9.99; those without access to Xbox Game Pass - those playing on PS4 or PC - can still grab the full version of the game with some expansions if they pick up the more recent Morrowond Edition!

Doom was an excellent addition to the Nintendo Switch’s lineup. I liked it a lot. And when Bethesda announced a sequel to Doom we all wondered if the game would be coming to the Switch. The Nintendo Switch has gotten some really mature third party games like Doom and Skyrim. And today, we got our first game for the Switch where we get to kill Nazis! The game I’m talking about is, of course, Wolfenstein 2. Its also from Bethesda like the games mentioned before and brought to the Switch by the same team that brought Doom to the system. After a strong first year which saw the Nintendo Switch get great support from many third party developers, E3 2018 seems to be signing a very different tune for the remainder of the year, and into 2019. While many games are coming to the system - and a good amount of 3rd party support as well - some of it is not coming soon enough, and some is not coming at all. Nintendo has a successful console on their hands with the Nintendo Switch, there is no doubt about that. But can it survive on it's own franchises unlike its predecessor, the Wii U?

Last night, Bethesda had their E3 press conference. They made many announcements, but my favorite was Fallout Shelter for the Nintendo Switch. I knew what the game was, vaguely, and thought it might be interesting. The fact that the game was free and that it came out last night excited me even more. One of the highlights of my PAX East Experience was Bethesda Gameplay Day on April 7th. During this time, guests had the opportunity to play The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset, The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Houses of Morrowind, Quake Champions, and try Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on the Nintendo Switch! Ironically, the event was not in the convention center, so people didn’t even need a PAX badge to attend what was essentially a gameplay party including food, drinks, and possibly even SWAG. Yes, I said it, there was EPIC swag! Heart hands, thanks Bethesda!
