The rumors continue to swirl regarding the Nintendo NX, and lately these rumors have revolved around what type of launch lineup we might see. I think a fair assumption would be that we will see the new Legend of Zelda game get a release on both the Wii U and the Nintendo NX, similarly to what was done with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the GameCube and Wii. Just when one would expect the Skylanders formula to get dated, the team at Activision comes up with something new to excite players. This time around, that new mechanic is vehicles. While driving these toys around the level can sometimes be frustrating, their inclusion in Skylanders SuperChargers gives the Skylander franchise a very much necessary kick in the butt. Skylanders SuperChargers is the best entry in the series to date with better looking characters, more gameplay options, and of course, vehicles!

The Call of Duty franchise is back, but this time with a future twist. At Microsoft’s conference we got a glimpse of the single player gameplay and, as per quota, there were huge set pieces, explosions, and highly detailed faces. Yet with the future comes new gadgets and interfaces.

For fans of the Transformers series, you will not be disappointed with the June 24th release of “Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark”. Rise of the Dark Spark is a follow up to the widely successful live action films and from other Activision titles Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. According to Information from Activision, Dark Sparks’ story takes players on the hunt for an ancient relic as powerful as the Matrix of Leadership, the Eponymous Dark Spark.

Although the next Call of Duty was set to be revealed this Sunday, the trailer that was to accompany it leaked overnight and Activision has decided to lift the lid early. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare looks like it'll offer yet another explosive entry in the series. It'll also star respected actor Kevin Spacey of House of Cards, Seven, Usual Suspects and American Beauty fame.

IGN and Sledgehammer have released an image of the next Call of Duty, supposedly from in-game footage. Call of Duty 2014 has yet to be fully revealed, although it was confirmed earlier this year that it would be made with a focus on new-gen consoles. Perhaps the release of this image, with its rather excellent texturing, is a continuation of that.

Have you ever felt that Call of Duty could do with a little more street cred? Perhaps all those fat little suburban teenagers need balancing out, and Activision has just the solution. Very soon they'll be releasing a brand new piece of DLC that allows you to alter your announcer's voice so that it sounds less soldier and more Snoop.

A short teaser video from the official Call of Duty Instagram page shows a distinctly Predator-esque level, with a distinctly invisible threat hunting the player. Although it's not expressly said that Predator will be making an appearance in the next set of DLC maps, which the video is a teaser for, it's pretty obvious. The description even has the quote "If it bleeds..." in it.

Activision have today announced that Call of Duty Elite - the season pass/play monitoring software that was launched in the run up to Modern Warfare 3 and then mostly ignored when Black Ops 2 was released - will be shutting down this week. Anybody who has logged into the servers since January this year will receive double XP.

Tony Hawk has let slip that he's been doing some motion capture for an upcoming title in his long-running sports title. The famous boarder probably got a few angry calls once the news hit that he'd opened his mouth a little too early, but Activision later confirmed that a new title was in development and that more news would be shared at a later date.
