Summer in Mara First Impressions
A few months ago, I chose to back Summer in Mara on the Nintendo Switch, via Indigogo in Canada. The game promised a farming simulation experience that weaved in quests, story, and more. As a huge fan of Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons, I was excited to give this game a shot. While I wouldn't really use those two games to compare to this, I would use on other title - Rune Factory. Summer in Mara was originally a crowd funded title - which we backed on Indigogo in Canada. The game is a play on the Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons franchise, although probably resembles something like My Time at Portia from Team 17. Last week, the development teamed announced that people could play through the prologue on Steam. While we haven't done that yet - waiting on our Switch review opportunity, check in next week! - others have.
