Dualshock 4 Light Causes Drama

The Dualshock 4 has a great big light on it. It was one of the first things announced about the controller and there are basically three functions behind it. You can differentiate between players, it interacts with the camera and, in certain games, it's utilized by devs as a kind of secondary output. Killzone, for instance, shows your health status via this little light. Suddenly, people are asking why any of this matters, and are begging Sony to let them turn it off.

February PlayStation Plus EU Update Leaked?

It looks like the February content for Europe's PlayStation Plus content may have been leaked, and boy is it a good'n. There's enough here to keep you going for the full year, let alone just for February, and owners of each console are going to be hard pushed to get through it all. Still, it's hard to deny the value, even if it just sits in your download list for the next six months.

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag Review

Yearly franchises rarely manage to surprise, but this year Assassin's Creed did just that. The franchise that originally had you climbing up rectangular buildings in the Middle East has now taken to the waves, adding ships, exploration and naval combat aplenty. It wasn't a change that happened over night, but Black Flag shows how far the franchise has come, and, as our view at the top our pirate ship attests, it has come an awfully long way.

Fifa 14 Review

The annual release of sport games for EA continues with the latest entry in the commercially successful Fifa franchise, Fifa 14. The sports title, developed by EA Canada, continues the series’ habit of providing solid, and addicting virtual soccer experiences that offer the closest thing to actually attending, or participating in a real live match. The franchise has ensconced itself pretty comfortably as the go-to sports video game for the majority of consumers. With Konami’s PES franchise lacking significant licensing prowess and marketing appeal, Fifa has ...

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Limited to 30 FPS

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition might contain improved graphics, a new Lara and all the DLC, but there's one area in which it certainly isn't "definitive." Scot Amos of Crystal Dynamics has today confirmed that the new-gen version of last year's Tomb Raider reboot will be limited to 30 frames per second.

The next Hitman game is being developed for PC and new-gen consoles. inFAMOUS: Second Son Could Have Been Something New

Sony have done quite a good job of stuffing a few familiar faces onto the PlayStation 4 at or close to launch. The Uncharted teaser has everybody chatting, while Killzone came out to strong fan reaction. inFAMOUS: Second Son is the next big AAA release, but it almost didn't happen. A Sucker Punch rep today said that they were considering building an entirely new IP altogether.

Next-Gen Dark Soul II Not Ruled Out

Dark Souls II is gearing up to be a great game for core gamers, and hopefully it'll manage to be just as tough as its predecessors. Here's the problem: a lot of core gamers have moved onto next-gen consoles and would probably quite like the bulk of their hobby to happen from the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Dark Souls II is only coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. But hope is not yet lost.

Tetris Dropping on PS4 and Xbox One

You've got your nice shiny next-gen console, you've got a HDTV and your state of the art smartphone for second screen play. There's only one thing missing really, isn't there? Tetris.
