Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World will be coming out on the 3DS in February. However, Nintendo gave us a surprise today! A demo for the 3DS eshop was release today. Here are my thoughts on the demo. Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World looks amazing on the 3DS. From the moment I started playing the demo for the game, my jaw was on the floor. The animation and gameplay looked and played just as good as it did on the Wii…

Read MoreYoshi Wholly World on 3DS is Important
It's not often that I say a video game is incredibly important, unless it touches on specific social issues or world injustices, but purely from a video game stand point, I think the release of Poochy and Yoshi's Wholly World on the 3DS is incredibly important for Nintendo in three specific ways: first, it highlights the desire from fans to see popular Wii U games get ported to the 3DS; second, it shows that Nintendo still has plans for the 3DS in 2017; and finally, that there are still inherent benefits of owning the NEW 3DS system over the original.

When Nintendo announced that there would be a Direct this week for Fire Emblem, I tried not to set my hopes too high. Read MoreFire Emblem Direct Tomorrow
Last week, we found out that Nintendo would be holding a Fire Emblem Direct. It was thought then that Nintendo would only be showing off the upcoming Fire Emblem Warriors for the Switch. With what seems like minimal interest in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, there is an open window for some indie games to make a big impact.

Read MoreAlmost Missed It: I Am Setsuna For #NintendoSwitch
I had no idea what I Am Setsuna was and didn’t think I’d care. I saw the name listed in Nintendo’s recent 2017 Nintendo Switch lineup image on twitter. No video was shown of it during the Switch presentation nor during Treehouse Live. What was this game? I passed it over and didn’t think about it much. Then, I saw a Nintendo Enthusiast video that showed off a lot of games that are coming for the Switch this year. One…
