Portal Knights Villainous Update Lands Around September 6th; Switch Version at a Later Date

The Portal Knights team has been very active on social media ever since the game originally launched, and now that things are up and running on every platform imaginable - Steam, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android - the team is busy pumping out content updates to support the ever growing fan base. Although these updates are not coming as fast as fans would like - and I'm sure the Portal Knights development team would like to see certification faster as well - when they do launch, it is with much fanfare and anticipation!

How Spider-Man on PS4 Reinvents the Wall-Crawler’s Mythology (Video)

Marvel’s Spider-man comes to the Playstation 4 early next month and with it comes a brand new Spider-man universe. Check out the IGN video below! It goes in-depth into the changes that developer Insomniac Games made to the wall-crawler’s life. I also have some thoughts on the upcoming game too. Marvel’s Spider-man for the Playstation 4 looks like a really cool game. Not only are the graphics amazing, but the game’s universe looks like it’ll be fun to explore. Some…

More Thoughts From Me #134: Words Will Hurt Them

What do you get when you combine a turn-based rpg with a word puzzle game? You get Letter Quest Remastered of course. The game is currently available on the Nintendo Switch and its on sale for $2.99 till August 30th! I picked it up on sale and now have some thoughts on it. Should you attack monsters with your words? Nindies Showcase Summer 2018 Video

Nintendo of America had a indie showcase video today. We have the video below and my thoughts on it. I thought todays Nindies Showcase video was ok. Overall, I wasn’t too impressed with most of the games. The two games that stuck out to me were Into the Breach (out today!) and Treasure Stack. I love tactical rpgs and puzzle games. I’m also interested in Hyper Light Drifter and Undertale. I’m not sure about many of the other games. Still,…

Little Dragon’s Café Review-in-Progress

When I heard the former creator of Harvest Moon - back when the franchise was the talk of farming simulation - was creating a brand new experience that would involve fishing, farming, and dragon raising, I was immediately intrigued and exited for the experience that was about to come. As time wore on, and more and more information about the game came to light, I began to have my doubts that this once famed developer would be able to rekindle the old Harvest Moon magic within a new title, and perhaps even, a new franchise. Now that I've played through the ...
