Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door 3DS Leak? (Rumor)
Rumors have surface about a Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake for 3DS. A 4Chan user posted both a video and screenshot of the game being played on the New 3DS XL. The screenshot clearly shows the game being played across both screens: action on the top, important menu stuff on the bottom.
Despite Iwata saying a few months back that Nintendo would be doing some inexpensive ports of older titles on 3DS, Nintendo fans should hold onto any excitement. Remember the Smash Bros Rayman DLC rumors from last month? Those turned out to be false, despite video and screenshots to the contrary.
For now we can sit and hope. If they are going to remake any Paper Mario for the New 3DS XL, it should be this one. Too many people missed out because they skipped the Gamecube generation. It’s time to get this, and more Gamecube games, the remakes they deserve.
