Yesterday, Nintendo had a Treehouse Live and showed off several games. The game that stood out the most to me was Yoshi’s Crafted World! Check out the Yoshi’s Crafted World Treehouse Live gameplay video below and then please come back for my thoughts on the footage. Yoshi’s Crafted World looks fantastic! I think the graphics look even better than Yoshi’s Woolly World, which is saying a lot because that game looked great. This new Yoshi game has a wonderful look…

Home Sweet Home Review
Home Sweet Home is a first-person indie-horror game inspired by Thai myths and beliefs that was recently released on PS4 and Xbox One from Thai developer Yggdrazil. Yggdrazil is not known for game creation, as it boasts projects in VFX, Animation, Art Design and Online-Editing categories, with very little focus on games. For a company with such a diverse portfolio, it would be an understatement to say I was surprised with the overall quality of Home Sweet Home.

If you like puzzle video games (maybe even if you don’t), then its very likely that you’ve played a version of Tetris. I’ve played a lot of Tetris games. I still own Puyo Puyo Tetris on the Nintendo Switch and play it once and awhile. You would think after so many Tetris games, I’d be tired of the series. Tetris always draws me back in. And the upcoming Tetris Effect may be the neatest version yet. I played some of…

The day before Fornite…I mean…the day before Halloween! I may have mentioned it in another More Thoughts, I’ve written so many of these who knows, but Halloween is my favorite holiday. Not Christmas (I do love it), not Thanksgiving (ditto), not my birthday (a valid holiday). Halloween. Why? Well, yes, mostly because of the candy, though I love spooky stuff too. I’m having fun watching the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I enjoyed Splatoween, and I had a lot of fun…

Despite the small screen size and clutter user interface, playing Civilization 6 on the iPhone was still a fantastic experience, which is forcing me to backtrack comments I made via twitter about the game. We all know how fantastic the Civilization franchise is, and it's been a staple on the PC for over a decade. Now with the franchise available on iPhone and iPad, consoles, and the PC, there literally is no excuse for anyone to not give the game a try.

Two-man indie developer out of Spain, Isolated Games, has begun an enormous undertaking. They are in the process of developing Between The Stars, an open-world space-themed action RPG with roguelike elements. If you think that is a mouthful to say, imagine what it must be like for a two-man team to create. While this may seem a monumental task, the guys at Isolated Games have made significant strides and recently released a demo of the game which I simply had to try out!

Read MoreSyberia 3
Syberia 3 is an adventure game in the vain of King’s Quest or more recently, Thimbleweed, but without the humor and a ton more puzzles to solve. The game recently came to the Nintendo Switch and I received a review code for it. Is Syberia 3 a good game or should you skip this adventure? Before you start Syberia 3, make sure you watch ‘the previously on Syberia’ video. Syberia 3 does not introduce Kate Walker and throws you right…
