Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and 3 Leaving Digital Stores
Capcom have announced that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and 3 will be leaving digital stores over the next week or so, depending on your location. The superhero brawler will be leaving both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, as well as all the DLC available. You should still be able to download it if you’ve already paid for it.
Little other information was given out in the Capcom Unity blog post announcing this sudden departure. It’s presumably time to pay up for the licencing, and sales have finally gotten to the point where it doesn’t make sense to write the cheque. Even so, it’ll be another chance for the anti-digital brigade to panic over the unreliable nature of non-physical items.
All of the games and their respective DLC packs will be available to purchase at 50% off until they’re removed from the store.
The specific dates:
The last day DLC content for these titles will be available is:
– 12/17 for PSN in North America
– 12/19 for PSN in Europe

The Vita titles should be unaffected, although, again, expect a sudden departure when it comes time to renew the Marvel licence.
