InkyPen, a comic book subscription service, is coming to Nintendo Switch Soon
Do you like comic books? Do you have a Nintendo Switch? If you answered: I love comic books and I have a Nintendo Switch, then you might be interested in InkyPen. We’ll tell you more about the comic book subscription service below.
InkyPen is a comic book subscription service and will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on December 17th! Much like netflix, you have to pay a flat rate to access thes service. InkyPen will cost $7.99 a month.
A recent Nintendo Life article says that the service will have comic books from “IDW, Valiant, Humanoids, Dynamite, and Titan Comics have already been confirmed, and the team has also snagged partnerships with Dark Horse, Archie Comics, and Papercutz to bring even more content to the platform.”
Some of the comics that will be included on the service are “Judge Dredd, Transformers, Robotech, X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Metabarons, Pathfinder, and Battlestar Galactica. It’ll also include comic adaptations of popular video game franchises such as Dark Souls, Dishonored, Tekken, and Assassin’s Creed.”
As a comic book fan myself, I think the service sounds very cool. Hopefully it’ll have an excellent reader and look great on the Switch. I’ve always hoped that someone would bring a comic reader to the Wii U or the Switch. Sometimes dreams do come true.
