Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island – A Perfect 10/10 Expansion

Last week, Microsoft and Turn 10 (surprisingly) released a big expansion for Forza Horizon. This isn’t just a car pack or a collection of new racing events and bucket list challenges. Well, actually it is, but it’s a lot more than that too. Storm Island will get Forza fans playing the game again over the holiday season, and it’s definitely worth every penny and all your time.

For $20.00 – or $10.00 if you have the VIP package – players get a whole new island to explore with weather that hasn’t been seen in Forza Horizon 2 yet. Hurricane like winds and rain with thick fog are only made more treacherous by dirt roads and rolling hills. While I find the difficulty ramps up with this expansion, its still doable and enjoyable. I never felt like I was doing races again and again despite trying to deal with different, more difficult driving conditions.

Overall, the package is completely worth every dollar it charges you. 50 more roads to find, upgrade discount boards to smash, a new barn find, and a few extra bucket list challenges will add hours and hours to this already spectacular game. If you own Forza and if you are looking for something to play this holiday season that isn’t 1) broken and 2) expensive, than Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island is exactly what you are looking for. Storm Islands scores a perfect 10/10 for me!
