Bridge Constructor Portal Coming Soon to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC

The first Portal game is one of my favorite games ever. Its not a very long game but it packs a punch. And you gotta love that ending song! I never could get into Portal 2 though.  I did enjoy GLaDOS appearance in LEGO Dimensions though. And now shes back! A new Portal spinoff game, Bridge Constructor Portal, has been announced. GLaDOS is narrating the trailer. Check that out below and please stick around for my thoughts on the game.

According to a Nintendo Everything article, “Bridge Constructor Portal will blend the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience, all under the demanding gaze of GLaDOS.”

I’m really happy that GLaDOS is apart of this game. Her humor will definitely be highlight of the game!

As for the actual gameplay, its not at all like the trailer. Here’s a screenshot from the game (also via Nintendo Everything):

The 2D style of this game is definitely different the regular Portal games. And yet many of the objects in the game Portal -like. With GLaDOS narration and hopefully fun gameplay, this Portal spinoff could be something special. The game is being developed by Headup Games, who recently put out Earth Atlantis for Switch. I think that’s a good sign.  I liked Earth Atlantis a lot.
