Tomb Raider Coming to PS4?
Cross-gen games are definitely going to be a thing in the first year of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, especially from third party developers. The latest to be added to the list of maybes (along with The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V) is Tomb Raider, which Amazon have listed for the PlayStation 4.
Before you scoff, this isn’t a mere checkbox mishap. This isn’t an accidental listing but rather an entirely new listing. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition comes pre-packed with all the DLC and an exclusive art book. If that isn’t evidence enough, the description also specifically mentions a next-gen version.
Those that didn’t play Tomb Raider on PC are in for a real treat. It’s an absolutely beautiful game, well ahead of most else last-gen, and if it comes anywhere close to how it looked off of consoles (and it should), it’ll be THE version to check out. Plus trophies.
No mention as to whether there will be an Xbox One version, but it’d be a safe bet. It’s also worth mentioning that if the price on Amazon is anything to go by, this will be the price of a brand new game – £40. Now, that’s cheaper than some next-gen titles, but still fairly pricey for something many of us will be able to play on PC for significantly less.
