Shadow Moses like You’ve Never Seen it
Solid Snake has been on many a mission, but perhaps the fan favourite takes place in the original Metal Gear Solid. One artist has recreated some of the best moments from the game in a way you’ll probably never have seen before, in a perfectly designed interactive Shadow Moses image you can explore on your own.
From cardboard boxes to cyborg ninjas, security cameras and science labs, the image has important scenes recreated in a unique chibi style. It really is excellently designed, with an attention to detail that’s brilliantly enjoyable.
With almost 40,000 tris, the Shadow Moses image was created by glenatron and posted to Sketchfab in WebGL. In fact, that’s the only issue I have with this image – in Chrome there seems to be a few bugs concerning viewing the picture that make it crash or slowdown. That might be a problem unique to me, but I suppose without it we wouldn’t have been able to even see the creation.
And if Metal Gear Solid isn’t your speed, you can also check out glenatron’s older but still incredibly cutesy take on Skyrim. It boasts a dragon you wouldn’t want to kill and even a little Fus Ro DAH. It melts an adventurer’s heart, it really does.
