Lego 2K Drive, for those who love to build with Lego as well as love racing games. This game is a BLAST to play, never fails to put a smile on my face. 2K really outdid themselves with this one. Get behind the wheel and gear up for tons of open-world exploration and thrilling races! Take on the exciting Story mode, jump into a single race or Cup Series tourneys, and let loose in off-the-wall minigames. Master the art of drifting, boosting, jumping, and using power-ups to defeat opponents! Story mode follows your journey from rookie racer to famous champion as you compete against a series of charismatic rivals. With each victory, you’ll work your way up the ranks to take on the infamous Shadow Z. The vast and vibrant world of Bricklandia is yours to explore as you see fit, full of colorful characters and kooky quests. Zoom past lush fields on Turbo Acres’ pavement, go off-roading in the deserts of Big Butte County, cruise across Prospecto Valley’s picturesque waterways, and more. Building vehicles in the Garage is as easy as snapping bricks together. With both online multiplayer as well as split screen action, you cannot go wrong breaking this one out during the holiday festivities!

WWE 2K23, this one is a little bittersweet for me. Growing up I was an absolute HUGE wrestling fan from late 80s through the Attitude Era. Wrestle games have also been played frequently in this household. WWE 2K23 is another example of how year after year 2K does little tweaks here and there to make an already great experience that much better. Expanded features, gorgeous graphics, and the ultimate WWE experience. Hit the ring with a deep roster of WWE Superstars and Legends including Roman Reigns, “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and more! As always there is a bunch of DLC available, but to get back to the bittersweet comment at the start there is a pack featuring all the characters from Bray Wyatt who (if you follow) you would know has passed away earlier this year.

Lastly one of the greatest “evergreen” titles on the market. My wife, my father-in-law, sister-in-law, and myself have spent easily a combined 500+ hours with this game. It’s the best it’s ever been and with many purchase options out there and plenty of add-ons to keep you busy for eons.
