Honest Reviews. Smarter Play

Honor’s End by IV Studios Fully Funded on Kickstarter

Deck building and cooperative games are two of my favourite things, and when IV Studios announced that they were combining the two into their new Kickstarter campaign, Honor’s End, I was instantly intrigued. IV Studios was GamesReviews.com Studio of the Year in 2024, and are continuing their trend of releasing fantastic games with big hits like Brink and Tend falling into consumers laps this year. There is still 4 days to back Honor’s End, so let’s tell you a bit about it!

In Honor’s End, players will be creating their own decks from a pool of cards, and using those decks cooperatively with other players to complete quests. According to IV Studios, they are setting out to make Honor’s End click in following ways:

Cooperative: Fight Together A two-phased system of collaboration intentionally designed to balance group effort with individual achievement.

Deckbuilder: A Fresh Take on a Classic Genre The hear of Honor’s End lies in the multi-use cards and collaborative achievement that builds your decks into an unstoppable force.

Campaign: Unravel the Mystery Styled as a screenplay, you’ll unravel the mysteries at the centre of Valroia’s sudden rekindling of magical forces. Every chapter unlocks new allies, enemies, and equipment that becomes permanent editions to your game.

Honor’s End is going to have two different modes of play, with the team wanting to make sure a dedicated group of people could play together, or someone could play one-off experiences. This typically isn’t done well, but with IV Studios leading this charge, I’m fairly confident it will work out well.

IV Studios has never produced a game that I didn’t at least have a passing interest in, and even the games that aren’t necessary my favourites, the production quality is off the charts. IV Studios produces good games – it is as simple as that. So if this gameplay intrigues you, this is a company worth giving your hard earned dollars too. They will give you every bit of that back in production and value!
