Xbox One launching November 22nd
Microsoft has revealed today the exact date for when the Xbox One hits stores across 13 countries worldwide.
November 22nd marks the day gamers will get their hands on the much anticipated next generation console. The Official Xbox One page also goes on to announce the company will be restocking Day One Editions of the Xbox One and that they have increased the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75GHZ, a 10% increase of raw power. This extra oomph will go a long way towards providing games that extra bit of polish.
Speaking of launch, we’re now in a position to share that Xbox One will be available on Nov. 22, 2013 in all 13 of our initial launch markets
With the PlayStation 4 releasing on the 15th in North America and on the 29th in Europe, the Xbox One is sandwiched neatly between both dates. This clever date of the 22nd gives the console a one week headstart in Europe but puts it a week behind PlayStation in North America.
In Europe, the Xbox One launches to just seven countries: Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and UK. Other countries such as Netherlands and Belgium will be forced to wait till 2014.
So to recap,
