Austrian Developer Making A Sex Game… For Oculus Rift

We all knew it would be only a matter of time before someone used Oculus Rift for something less savoury than becoming a space ship pilot or exploring villages. Austrian developer ThriXXX are hard at work creating a different sort of experience, an experience that will allow you to “look in on the fantasies of others.” 

Chathouse 3D is a sex simulator. ThriXXX, who have been making animation for sex games since 2001, obviously have spotted a niche in the market. Those that want more control over their… entertainment, but who struggle to find sexual value in just a pair of computer-generated models getting it on. Chathouse 3D does things differently, putting you into the action, allowing you to either watch others or perhaps, as the trailer seems to imply, actually join in (or at least watch things from that point of view).

Gone are the days when a teenage right of passage was to sneak a look at a copy of your dad’s playboy under the bed. With Oculus Rift and a copy of Chathouse 3D, you’re about as close to a sexual experience as you can be, without actually needing to talk to or even be near a girl. For those ready to head in, however, just remember that you’re going to actually need to wear the Oculus Rift on your head, and the biggest feature of it is that it creates a virtual reality. Best make sure the doors are locked if you’re expecting company.
