Humble Bundle Evolved – Is this the best Bundle Yet?

HumbleOriginBundle_690x297

How would you feel about picking up more or less every single major EA game from the last seven years for next to nothing? Well, today is the day. The latest Humble Bundle is all about EA and includes everything from Dead Space 3 to Mirror’s Edge. That’s if you pay a dollar. Aim a little higher and you’ll get The Sims 3 and a couple of expansions, plus Battlefield 3.

That’s without taking into account what might be coming when more is added in week two.

The full collection, which is made up of Origin codes and, where appropriate, Steam codes, can be bought at the official Humble Bundle website.

The games currently included are:

  • Dead Space
  • Dead Space 3
  • Burnout Paradise
  • Crysis 2: Maximum Edition
  • Mirror’s Edge
  • Medal of Honor

Beat the average for:

  • Battlefield 3
  • The Sims 3: Starter Pack (which includes the base pack, plus the Late Night expansion and “High-end Loft Stuff”)

There are Steam keys for each of the games in the set, with the exceptions of The Sims 3, Battlefield 3 and Dead Space 3. Dead Space 2 will most likely be added in the second week, as it’s a very conspicuous omission from this bundle. Other likely additions are the Battlefield 3 DLC packs, although with a catalogue like their’s, EA could add anything.

It’s worth noting that all the proceeds from this Humble Bundle go to charity. EA aren’t making a penny.

This Humble Bundle isn’t only, in my opinion, the best bundle we’ve had so far, but it’s also a nice bit of closure to this generation. With the exception of the Mass Effect set, this represents almost every major release from EA from the last seven years, and a lot of these games have sequels coming next-gen. Just the right time to see how you fancy each franchise before investing in EA products for your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
