Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition Coming to Vita
A tweet from developer Devolver Digital has revealed that they’re bringing Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition to the PlayStation Vita. The port is being handled by Abstraction Games.

Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition was the recent re-release of Duke Nukem 3D, available through Steam with a handful of bonus features. Achievements, reworked visuals and smoothed out gameplay all made one of the classic FPS experiences more enjoyable to a modern audience, while a handful of bonus expansions available through the game itself was enough to excite old fans all over again. There was also a DosBox version of the original Duke Nukem 3D included as well.
It’s fair to presume that the original game won’t be making it to the Vita port, but what about the expansions? Given that they each have achievements linked to them, it’s a fair bet, although at this point nothing has been confirmed.
It’s all good news though. The Vita gets another classic worth checking out – a classic that hasn’t made it to home consoles in its improved state – and a new set of people get to play Duke Nukem 3D, on the go no less. Just be careful to check who is sitting behind you before you decide to “tip” the “exotic dancers.”
Watch for more information as it’s announced.
