£170 Master Chief Collection Sold Out Already

This morning various outlets reported on a Game.co.uk-exclusive version of the Master Chief Collection. It comes complete with a statue of the titular hero and cost somewhere in the region of £170. Just a few hours after those stories hit the web, Game have sold out of copies. If you were interested in receiving the statue alongside your limited edition version of the remaster collection, you’d better start searching eBay instead.

The 12″ Artfx statue of Master Chief does look pretty cool, but the added £120 needed to secure one seemed like it’d be a major turn off for fans of the franchise, especially those that already own other, less expensive figurines. Still, that worry seems to have been completely unfounded, with Game seemingly selling out of the product in next to no time at all. The Mjolnir collection also contains the steelbook edition of The Master Chief Collection – available seperately for just over £50 – and a physical map book. 

You would have been able to buy it from here, and the page remains up just in case you want to see what you’ve missed out on. It’s possible, although at this point they’d probably deny it, that they might get more stock in at some point, although if you were lucky enough to put your name on one of the Master Chief statues, it might also mean you’ve got a limited edition that’s actually limited. Who knows? It might even end up a collector’s piece.
