PS+ EU update for August
The PS+ subscription service from Sony just keeps going from strength to strength. Today the content being given away for European players was announced and, while some of it may surprise you, it likely won’t disappoint. Here’s a rundown of all games free in August for PS3 and PSV in Europe.
I’ve also included the current prices of said content and also its current Metascore just to give you an idea of what it would normally cost you and what to expect from it.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted
From the creators of the excellent Burnout franchise NFS:MW expands on the unprecedented freedom seen in Burnout Paradise. Evade cops, take out rivals and find all the collectibles when Most Wanted gets added to the Instant Game Collection in August.

Mafia II
Set in 1940s Eastern Bay (New York) this 3rd person sandbox action game by 2K Czech may be 3 years old but don’t let its age fool you. It’s still a gloriously fun game. Perhaps not an par with the likes of GTA or Saints Row but it can definitely holds its own.
Mafia 2 will be free to download in August.

Spec Ops: The Line
Spec Ops: The Line is a 3rd person shooter by developers Yager. Players are put in the shoes of Captain Martin Walker as he attempts a rescue mission amidst the treacherous environments of a sand covered Dubai.
Spec Ops: The Line will be added to the IGC in August.

Lego Lord Of The Rings
J.R. Tolkiens fantasy world has never been so much fun. The popular middle-earth tale gets the Lego make over thanks to developers TT Games. LLOTR follows the story of the original Peter Jackson Trilogy but adds the charm and comedy only found in Lego games. LLOTR for Vita will be added to the IGC in August.

When Vikings Attack
This quirky little game by Clever Beans has Vikings landing 2000 years in the future. Local residents of a nearby village posse up to defend their homes from the horned vikings with an arsenal of throwable objects such as park benches, trees and even cars. When Vikings Attack for the Vita gets added to the Instant Game Collection in August.
