Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Trailer shows off new Graphics
When it rains, it pours. Apparently Square Enix have realized there’s a new Kingdom Hearts Remix coming out in the next few months, and that they ought to start advertising it. Our second trailer in less than a month, this one shows off some of the changes between the original, SD PS2 version of Kingdom Hearts 2 and the new HD PS3 outing. There’s also a clip from Birth by Sleep.
As always, it seems Square has done a great job in refreshing the title with a fresh coat of paint, but it’s also the first time we’ve gotten to see some of the Final Mix stuff along with the English dialogue. The Christmas outfits are brand new for western shores, and they do improve on things quite a bit.
There was a disappointing lack of variety and action, so hopefully this is going to be the start of a series of comparison trailers. It’d be nice to see something like Pride Rock or Pirates of the Caribbean, where the art style and character models are vastly changed.
Who are we kidding though? it’s obvious that we’re all going to buy it regardless, and that it’s going to surpass our wildest expectations visually. Only a few months more to wait…
