GoG #NoDRM Finale Wraps Up a Summer Sale
It’s the last day of the GoG #NoDRM summer sale. That means you’ve only got another 24 hours if you want some great games at a decent discount.
With several big bundles seeing reductions of up to 85%, it’s great if there are things you’ve been waiting to buy on GoG, but less good if you liked the idea of picking up individual titles at next to no cost.
The #NoDRM sale has been running for a short while now and several of the biggest offers have returned. If you missed out on anything from the previous days, it’s well worth taking a look and seeing if your deal has returned.
Some of the hottest deals include Fez at 50% off, the RPG rarities pack (which includes Costume Quest, Evoland and a few others) for $15 and the Omerta all inclusive pack – a game which is usually pushing its luck at four times this price without the DLC – for a little over $10.
The #NoDRM thing means that you’ll be downloading these games ‘straight,’ without the ability to put them directly into Steam. You can still catalogue them – simply click “add a game” in the bottom left corner and then press “add a non-Steam game” – but you won’t be able to actually download them into your library.
It’s important to remember that there’s a Steam sale around the corner as well, so don’t rush into anything that you’re not 100% sure on. It might end up being cheaper very soon. Still, the prices on GoG are pretty tempting, so don’t hesitate if you see a must-have.
