Final Fantasy X HD Comparison Video Released
Square Enix and PlayStation have released a Final Fantasy X HD comparison video showcasing the differences between the PS2 and PS3 versions of Final Fantasy X. Showing off the introduction, you’ll see clearer character models, better lighting and textures and more screen real estate.
If you’ve yet to see the old version and new version side-by-side, this is a pretty shocking demonstration of what you’ll be able to expect when Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Collection is released later this year. There have been lots of screens released, but this is the first Final Fantasy X HD comparison.
Also announced was a special limited edition version of the collection which comes with a beautiful art book filled to the brim with concept art from the game’s original release. It also comes in an awesome black box, which is actually quite striking after a decade of having that white box. It is a limited edition and you’ll need to pre-order when it becomes available if you want a copy. It doesn’t seem like it’s exclusive though and, so far, nowhere actually has it available for purchase.
You can see a picture of the new limited edition HD set below.
A lot of people are excited for this HD Collection, because of the amount of effort that seems to have gone into putting as much value into the box as possible. Whether visually, in terms of new content or in terms of the limited edition, Square are going full out on this one.
