PDP Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers

Along with the Nintendo Switch carrying cases and Pixel Pal Luigi that I got from PDP recently, I also received three Nintendo Switch Pro controllers and a faceplate! Here is a look at the Pro controllers and the accessory.

Wired Fight Pad Pro – Link

The Wired Fight Pad Pro is Link themed, with the Ocarnia of Time Link shield in the top middle of the controller. Otherwise, this Fight Pad looks like a blue Gamecube controller. Thats not a bad thing at all. The Gamecube controller is one of the best controllers ever. This controller lives up to that.

Best of all though? The Wire Fight Pad Pro has an extremely long cord that plugs into the side of your Nintendo Switch dock. You will not have to sit next to your dock with this controller! The cord reaches a long way!

I tested out the controller with Smash Bros and Breath of the Wild. It worked great with them but I especially recommend it for Smash Bros. It just works really great with that game!

Afterglow™ Wireless Deluxe Controller

The Afterglow Wireless Deluxe Controller is beautiful in person. I love that you can see the inner workings of the controller and that it lights up!

Best of all this is a wireless controller so you can sit where ever you want and it works perfectly. The controller comes with a USB plug that you can use to recharge it via the Switch dock! Very handy.

I tried this controller out with Burnout Paradise and Animal Crossing New Horizons. I thought it worked great with both games. I did have to get use to the different button placements (from the joycons) but once I did, wow, what a difference. This is the controller I used for my Burnout Paradise Remastered pro test. Loved it.

The controller costs $49.99 and if you’re going to be playing games like Burnout Paradise Remastered on your TV, you should have this controller! Get it here!

Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller – Blue Camo

I wasn’t expecting the Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller in with the package I received. It was an unexpected but delightful surprise.

I like the blue camo design of the controller a lot. And while the controller is wired, just like the Fight Pad Pro it has an extra long cord. Its perhaps even longer than the Fight Pad Pro’s cord!

Of course I tried out the controller out with a couple of games, The Outer Worlds and Animal Crossing New Horizons, and they worked great.

This is another good pro controller for your Nintendo Switch!

Faceoff Mod Kit – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Gold Edition

Just as I wasn’t expecting the Faceoff+ controller, I wasn’t expecting a Faceoff Breath of the Wild mod kit either. The kit had a gold Breath of the Wild faceplate, extra analog sticks, and a bigger D-pad. Somebody at PDP was paying attention to what I liked!

The faceplate is a very cool option for your controller. I wasn’t sure how to take the faceplate off of the controller but I figured it out. I could’ve switched the analog sticks and d-pad but decided to leave them alone. I just put the cool Zelda faceplate on. It snapped on very easily.

And while I enjoyed the blue camo look a lot, the Faceoff+ controller looks better with the Zelda faceplate! If you’re a Zelda fan, you should get this faceplate here. It costs $9.99! An excellent price for a cool accessory.
