Octopath Traveler Pre-purchase Available Now; New Demo Tomorrow

Octopath Traveler is coming out for the Nintendo Switch next month. Today, during Treehouse Live, Nintendo showed off more of the game and also announced that the game would be available for pre-purchase from the Nintendo Switch eshop starting today. We also got more news about the new Octopath Traveler demo!

Octopath Traveler will be coming the Nintendo Switch on July 13th. The game is currently available for pre-purchase on the eshop!

Treehouse Live today showed off some more footage of the game. We got to see a little bit of a Hunter’s story and a Thief’s story. I really liked both gameplay segments, though the Hunter’s section was especially interesting. It was neat how you could capture animals and then use them to fight your enemies.

If you want to play the thief, the Hunter, or any of the 8 playable Octopath Traveler characters early, then we have good news for you. A new demo for the game will release tomorrow morning and will allow players to play any of the 8 characters! And you can play them for up to three hours. Plus, your save will carry over to the full game.

I’m very excited to check out the Octopath Traveler demo and will have my impressions of the demo early next week! If you haven’t had a chance yet to play the game, you will be in for a real treat when the demo launches.
