EA Showcases The Sims 4
Have you ever wanted to create a world where you can have free reign over your characters’ emotions? Control their hearts? Define their personalities? EA proposes that, in the next iteration of The Sims, you can. The Sims 4 allows you to completely craft your Sims through traits and aspirations, which determine how they interact in their world. Personality drives behavior, and through the varied emotional states that your Sims will go through, they will find themselves in situations that are completely dependent on their world and the ways that the player chooses to create them.
EA showcased these emotional states as Sims experienced various situations in their everyday lives through “The Heart Feature”, such as Chuck who was upset about an argument that he had with his neighbor the night before. Gladys attacked Chuck because of his poetry, and this incident will forever affect how these two characters will continue to interact. Everything, down to the décor you chose to decorate their houses with, affects your Sims. You can add more Sims to further change how they interact with their current environment.
Everything is easy as the click of the mouse, which allows the player direct control over their Sims. You can change outfits, personality traits, and ambitions; even their facial definitions can be created with a simple click and drag. The game drops September 2nd so make sure to check back for the review, and get all of your e3 coverage here at GamesReviews.com
