EA Officially Announced Battlefield Hardline
Today Battlefield Hardline showed up at E3. I’ve not been a huge fan of the franchise, but this game immediately caught my attention. Hardline combines the gameplay of Battlefield with the well-known ‘catch me if you can’ game mode. The result seems to be a fast paced shooter with many decisions which can influence the outcome.
In Hardline, you play a game of cops and robbers with up to 31 other people. The famous squad system is back and there are of course a lot of vehicles to destroy. The trailer shows a mission in which the robbers have to clean an armored truck and save the loot. You’ll have to fight your way through 16 players trying to stop you. The trailer features car chases, zip lining through the skyline and blowing up a crane which, on its way down, demolishes a few buildings. I’m not much of a battlefield fan, but this title gives a nice spin to the gameplay. I might just pick this one up. Battlefield Hardline’s beta has been launched today and the official game will be released at the 21st of October.
